Situated in the historic converted stables and home farm of the Crosby Estate, the CHET centre affords visitors a welcome escape.  The Centre comprises a 15^th century Great Barn, communal Lounge, Dining Room, Kitchen, Boot Room (for coats and shoes), Tuck Shop, Office and Entrance Foyer.  The centre has 52 beds, mostly in rooms of 4 bedroom plan.  There are three outdoor classrooms: a Pottery Studio, Art Room and the David Room which can be used as a dark room, along with a new indoor Archery Range and access to the RDA Indoor Riding Arena.  CHET has a large field and there are extensive private woodlands and grounds on the estate that visiting children are able to explore. We also have a small farm, housing sheep, goats, cows, hens and geese.  CHET is set in the picturesque village of Little Crosby; predominantly a farming village with a rich local history.  Further afield, Crosby Beach is a 40 min walk away with access to the extensive Sefton Coastline with attractions such as the Red Squirrel Sanctuary and Anthony Gormley’s ‘Another Place’ and the ‘Petrified Forest’.
